the bothy boutique is now open for business

we’re so pleased to announce that the retail arm of our wee charity is now open for business on marchmont road!

after months of planning, renovating, fundraising, and sorting through donations, seeing our second-hand shop up and running is a wonderful feeling and we’re so proud of how it has turned out.

profits from the bothy boutique will go towards the running of the breakfast bothy and providing the vital goods and services needed to make life a little easier for people experiencing homelessness. the boutique will also serve as a community hub, further supporting our guests to live happy and healthy lives.

we’d like to thank everyone who has supported us on our latest venture, from those who spent a night outside in the freezing temperatures to fundraise, to everyone who donated clothing, books, bric-a-brac, and more to stock our shop, and to our wonderful supporters who provided helpful advice.

it’s been a journey of learning, of long days, and of asking ourselves what on earth we’re doing, and wouldn’t have had it any other way (apart from having to re-paint the shop when we found out our first colour choice wasn’t council approved!)
